SPIE Photonics West is where the photonics industry comes together to discuss real technical challenges, emerging applications, and the technologies that will shape the next generation of optical systems. For Tecnottica, attending SPIE Photonics West 2026, means being exactly where these conversations happen.
From January 20 to 22, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, Tecnottica will be present at Booth #3424, sharing the space with Optec, to meet designers, engineers, and system integrators working on high-performance optical solutions; and booths 4008/9, in the Italian Pavillion of ICE, the Italian Trade and Investment Agency.
Talking about processes, constraints, and performance
Over the years, Tecnottica’s participation in international events has evolved. The focus is no longer limited to presenting components, but to discussing how optical systems are conceived, manufactured, measured, and qualified.
At SPIE Photonics West, Tecnottica brings its experience in:
- precision optical components,
- complex geometries such as aspheric and freeform optics,
- metrology-driven manufacturing processes,
- optical solutions designed for demanding environments, from industrial laser systems to aerospace applications.
The goal is to engage in technical dialogue with professionals facing challenges related to performance, tolerances, repeatability, and integration; and to explore how manufacturing choices directly affect system-level results.
Double exposure
At SPIE Photonics West 2026, Tecnottica will be presenting a dual exhibit, further strengthening its visibility at the event.
Tecnottica will be a co-exhibitor with Optec, in a collaboration that reflects a complementary approach. Sharing Booth #3424 allows visitors to explore different perspectives within the optical supply chain and see how specialized skills can converge when complex projects require integrated solutions. The booth is designed as a space for discussion: from the early design stages to production feasibility, from testing strategies to long-term reliability. In this area, Tecnottica will be represented by Alberto Fasoli, the COO.
In addition to the shared space with Optec, Tecnottica will also be represented in the Italian Pavilion promoted by ICE, at Booths #4008 and #4009, with the technical team, in detail Alessio Valtolina, Production Manager.
This will be a dual opportunity to meet partners, designers, and system integrators, and to explore expertise, production processes, and high-performance optical solutions in complementary yet equally strategic settings within the trade fair.

Aerospace, industrial, and high-performance photonics
Many of the conversations Tecnottica expects, at SPIE Photonics West, revolve around applications where optics are not standard components, but critical system enablers.
Aerospace, industrial laser processing, advanced imaging, and scientific instrumentation all demand tight control over form, surface quality, coatings, and traceability.
Being at SPIE means staying aligned with how these requirements are evolving , and contributing practical manufacturing insight grounded in real production experience.
