Tecnottica Consonni, Precision Optics manufacturer, closes the year with a turnover of €8 million and sets its sights on 2026 with ambitious goals in Aerospace, Security and international markets.
The company, a family-owned manufacturer based in Calco with over sixty-five years of history in Precision Optics, closed 2025 with a turnover of €8 million, up 15% from the €6.95 million recorded in 2024. A result that consolidates the company’s position in a global market still navigating significant uncertainty, and lays the groundwork for a 2026 defined by investment and growth.

The Aerospace sector was once again the company’s most profitable and strategic segment in 2025, continuing to drive results alongside export activity. International sales accounted for approximately 55% of total revenue, with particularly strong performance across European and North American markets. On the geographical diversification front, the company continues to deepen its presence in emerging markets, the entry into India, initiated in 2024 through a local agent, has begun to yield its first tangible results.
On the domestic production side, operations at the Scandicci facility, the Coating department, ensured continuity and quality standards that have always been Tecnottica’s primary competitive edge. The year also saw meaningful progress in the acquisition of new qualifications for Aerospace applications and high-power Laser systems.

Goals for 2026: profitability, security and International growth
For 2026, Tecnottica’s management is focused on improving overall profitability through the optimisation of production processes and more efficient cost management. The goal is not simply one of turnover, but of margin quality, an approach that reflects the maturity of a company that has grown without sacrificing financial solidity.
The Aerospace and Security sectors remain at the core of the commercial strategy. These are technically demanding markets in which Tecnottica has built a recognised position over the years, driven by sustained investment in machinery for production and testing under extreme environmental conditions.
On the product innovation front, the company will continue to expand its expertise in optics for Infrared applications, an area of rapidly growing demand, and in the production of Aspherical Lenses, which saw significant investment in staff training and dedicated machinery over the past twelve months. The work carried out in 2025 places Tecnottica in a stronger position to address increasing demand in a segment with applications across advanced Imaging, Biomedical and Aerospace.
Internationally, North America is the primary market in which Tecnottica aims to strengthen its presence, with negotiations already under way with potential commercial partners. The United States, currently representing around 10% of export revenues, is considered by management one of the key growth vectors for the years ahead.
Expansion works under way at the Calco Facility
Among the most concrete signals of the company’s direction is the start of expansion and renovation works at the Calco headquarters, now already under way. The project will add approximately 700 m² dedicated to production, metrology and quality control. A dedicated communication will follow on the progress of the works.
